Whether your business is small and modest or large and in-charge, the key to success is build a personal relationship with each and every customer. Consumers are drawn to companies who see them as individuals, not dollar signs. To reach that level of intimacy, you must treat your marketing strategy as an opportunity to create a connection and build real engagement.

Don’t just start the conversation. Be an active part of it.

Avoid looking at your marketing—particularly on social media—as a collection of statistics. Your heart may skip a beat each time someone “likes” one of your Facebook or Instagram posts, but your strategy shouldn’t end there. Why? Because purchasing decisions come down to a real live person who wants to feel good about where they’re spending their money and who they’re spending it on.

Every positive impression matters when it comes to building trust and credibility. Let that ideology guide all your campaigns.

Ask any business owner: branding is hugely important. Your brand is influential, not only to get customers interested in you, but also to retain their loyalty.

With this in mind, we’re working hard to strengthen The FAT Paint Company brand with our customers. So, what does this mean for you? Well, we’ve put together this style guide for all things FAT, including the dos and don’ts, how to use our logo and some helpful photography tips.

We ask you to familiarize yourself with these guidelines and use them when promoting FAT Paint in any capacity. This presents a unified, cohesive and recognizable image of our company and product line, ensuring our customers keep coming back to YOU, the retailer, for their FAT Paint needs!

Share-able Photos & FAT Paint Logos

One of the best marketing tools for increasing brand awareness – and in turn, creating FAT curiosity, enthusiasm and engagement in your customers – are photographs. We’ve got a growing library of photos for retailers to share on their social media feeds, and it’s kept all snug and sound in our Dropbox. Below is a link.

Important reminder: when sharing any photo (whether from our dropbox, or something you’ve found in your feeds), be sure to credit the Artisan or company it comes from. So with that in mind:

  • When sharing any FAT Paint branded photos, you don’t need to credit us with the photo… just be sure to establish a link to our social media feed.
  • For all of the FAT Paint promotional photos for the Amanda Forrest Collection, please do your best to acknowledge the photographer – Tracey Ayton. Facebook: Tracey Ayton Photography. Instagram: @tracey_ayton. We do this at the end of our post by saying: “Photo credit: Tracey Ayton Photography”, often after any hashtags
  • All Amanda Forrest Collection photos – whether they’re ours, yours or an Artisan’s photo – should be linked to Amanda. Also, please identify the colour and hashtag #AFxFAT. Facebook: Amanda Forrest. Instagram: @amandaforreststyle
  • For any photo in Dropbox that isn’t ours, we try to make note of who the Artisan is. Please check and properly link.
  • Lastly, if you’ve found a photo in your social media world, please don’t forget to credit the Artisan. They’ve worked hard and deserve the kudos!
